DACS is a matter of WHO, WHERE, and WHEN. It determines who is authorized to enter or exit, where they are authorized to enter or exit, and when they are authorized to enter or exit.
Most of the fire detection and alarm systems work according to the same basic principles. If there is a fire, an alarm is triggered. This alerts building managers, tenants and occupants that a fire may occur and an evacuation may be required.
